I recieved a very interesting e-mail the other day. Although this would be a small credit, it could be a fun one!

“We’re running a photo competition to allow people to submit images for
inclusion in a new board game called GiftTRAP. You can find out more
about the game at www.GiftTRAP.com

If your image is selected we will include your name or website on the
Gift Card in the game and we’ll include links from our website for all
the photographers who helped us make the game a reality.

See some examples at www.gifttrap.com/index.php/products/

It’s a game about gifts. Each photo represents a gift that you can
give to your friends & family. It’s a very unique game and a fun play
experience. It reveals just how well you know yourself , how well you
know your fellow players and how well they know you!

What gifts would you like to give or receive? Do you have photos that
represent these gifts? We’d love to see them!

We’re keeping a hot list of the images we’re looking for at
www.gifttrap.com/index.php/hotlist/

But don’t let this constrain your imagination, be creative!

Hope you don’t mind me sending this invite to your club. It’s been a
labor of love for the last two years. It’s great to finally be at the
point where we can begin to talk about the game.

We go to print in about three weeks, so you don’t have long to submit.
Good news is it makes it easier to win :) We will keep running the
competition for the second and subsequent production runs.

We have a strong charitable theme running through the game and we will
be donating 1 copy to charity for every 10 copies sold. For more info
on our charity partners see
www.gifttrap.com/index.php/charities/

If you have any queries please mail juliekellet@gmail.com

Hope to see you posting soon.

Best Regards

Samantha”

I came across this photo blog a few days ago. He is very talented and it’s a worthwhile stop every morning to see if he’s put up a new image. Enjoy!

From an e-mail I recieved:

“I would like to let you and your photography club know about a new workshop that might interest your members. It’s a one-of-a-kind tour that combines adventure travel in China with a workshop on travel photography. Professional photographer and creator of this tour, Ewen Bell, is also available to speak with your members and perform a webinar for one of your upcoming club meetings.

This tour is a rare opportunity to learn advanced photographic techniques in an active travel environment. More information on the trip is below and is also available at www.ewenbell.com/workshops .

Ewen Bell is available to speak to your club directly to answer questions on general photography, digital photography, and on the trip itself.

Ewen can also meet with your club through an interactive WEBINAR. This could be a great event for one of your regular club meetings –a chance to speak to a working professional travel photographer, view his work, talk about his upcoming trips, and ask any questions your members may have.

To schedule a webinar for your club or find out more information on the trip, you can contact Ewen directly at ewen@ewenbell.com or +61 438 896 228 (dial 011 first in the US), or feel free to contact me here in the US.

You can also check out Ewen’s new podcast about the trip at www.ewenbell.com/workshops as well.

Best regards,

Brian
