From an e-mail I recieved:
This summer, the non-profit Yosemite Association will offer four exciting
photo workshops in the spectacular setting of Yosemite National Park. These
field trips will venture into scenic areas of the park to capture visually
unique and compelling subject matter - according to professional experts who
are in the know! Workshops cater to both film and digital formats and are
appropriate for all skill levels. We hope you can join us in beautiful
Yosemite this summer!
Photography Backpack to Hetch Hetchy, June 9 through 11
Explore pristine backcountry waterfalls and wildflowers of Yosemite’s
gorgeous twin sister, Hetch Hetchy, with accomplished landscape and wildlife
photographer, John Senser.
North Dome Moonrise Photography Backpack, July 9 through 11
Timed perfectly to the rise of a full moon, John Senser’s expertise gives
added value for digital camera users, beginning backpackers and anyone
seeking a new visual perspective.
Photographing High Country Habitats, August 4 through 6
Based in Tuolumne Meadows, explore the magnificent crest and dramatic
formations of the Sierra Nevada. Led by photographer and long-time Yosemite
backcountry enthusiast Howard Weamer, this color workshop is geared toward
intermediate to advanced photographers.
Panorama Trail Descent, August 6 and August 19
Professional photographer Bob Campagna leads an unforgettable scenic
nine-mile venture starting at Glacier Point and ending in Yosemite Valley,
accessing three major waterfalls - Illilouette, Nevada and Vernal Falls.
Digital and film cameras welcomed.
Fees start at $90 per person, which includes free Yosemite Park entrance
fees (a $20 value). A limited number of complimentary camping sites and
