From an e-mail I received:

Hello!

We have just launched a new direct-sales backed online image marketplace at www.citizenimage.com. The basic premise is that we give photographers of every level a one-stop shop to sell their both editorial and creative images, and we pay out 50% of the gross proceeds every time their images sell with no charges for hosting or uploading.

As we just launched, we are on a drive for great content and we want to get the word to as many photography enthusiasts as we can.

If you have any questions, please check out our submission guide or e-mail us at the address below. We look forward to representing your images!

Sincerely,
Your Team at Citizen Image

Invitation to a small “great adventure.”

For anyone with the time and a longing to experience the beauty of the
mountains at dawn, to explore the delicacy of a mountain flower and photograph sunset colors on Mono Lake, all in the company of similarly minded
photographers, I will be conducting a summer workshop that is being offered through Cerro Coso Community College. (Tentative sites include Little Lakes Valley, McGee Creek, and Mono Lake.)

The workshop starts July 6, at 5:30 at the Mammoth Campus, and runs Friday and Saturday, ending Sunday around 1:.00.

The workshop is a one credit class, ENROLLMENT FEE $26.00 plus materials.

The workshop will be of particular interest to photographers from beginning to intermediate and fun for any level photographer.

For more details please visit my website, and for information about low cost
housing being offered by Mammoth Mountain:
www.insearchofbeautyphotography.com

To enroll call 934-2875. To insure enrollment students must enroll by June
30, or enroll at the fist meeting of the workshop.

Remember, memory of most of the days in our lives are forgotten, but we
never forget our “great adventures.” Consider joining me on July 6 for a small
“great adventure.”

If anyone plans on being in San Diego, make a trip to The Museum of Photographic Arts. A relatively new museum, its focus is photography, film and video.
