PSA Exhibition in Egypt

The very first PSA-recognized exhibition and photo contest to be conducted in Egypt is
“Egypt’s 1st International Photography Festival” with a closing date of Nov. 30, 2007.
The photo contest will have the following sections:
- Photo Travel Slides
- Photo Travel Prints
- Large Color Prints with a theme of “Portraits”
- Electronic Imaging (Color) with a theme of “Portraits”
- Nature Prints
- Nature Digital
The Festival organizers offers 30% discount for the entry fees till 30th of August. 2007 .
Entry fees after discount are $35 for 1 section; $42 for 2 sections, and $49 for 3 sections .
They are offering big time prizes: $8,000 for 1st, $6,000 for 2nd, $4,000 for 3rd, $2,000 for 4th and $1,000 for 5th plus the Oscar for the first winner in each section + certificate of appreciation .
You have the right to participate with up to 4 photos in each section.
The exhibition has a list of credit judges with many recognized and well-known names including PSA’s Vice President of Publication Jean Timmermeister, FPSA.
